On Forgiveness
Forgiving the person that hurt you....that's for your peace of mind. By not forgiving the person, you're giving them power over you. You're saying "yes even though you hurt me,I'm always thinking of you,you control my life" . Do you really want that? I know I don't. Forgive that person and move on with your life, that makes you the bigger person. If God could forgive you each time you sin and beg for forgiveness, who are you to turn down your fellow man? What is so unique about you? Why hold a grudge in your heart?. Your ability to forgive the person that hurt you is enough to teach that person a lesson. Vengeance is not yours to give;let God take the wheel. Forgiving the one who hurt you frees your heart. I know of a woman who was able to forgive a man who slaughtered her family before her eyes so what exactly is your problem?
Of course,no problem is too small. Don't turn suicidal because someone hurt you. No problem is worth losing your life over. Talk to someone. Get some help. I know its not easy to let go but at least try. It lifts the weight off your heart...
Letting go of pain is never easy. Its alright to feel pain,to let it out regardless of what people think. Nothing you've done or experienced is bad enough for you to hide it in and kill yourself in the process.
"I'm sorry" always sounds like such a simple word. Its not. Don't say sorry when you don't mean it,that only makes matters worse. One should understand that when you've hurt someone, you should apologize for your sake as much as theirs. You never know when it might happen to you. "Do unto others that which you want done to yourself". Don't try destroying someone's life simply because you're jealous;you're only digging a hole for yourself. Be careful with your words and how hurtful they are. Humans;especially females are like very fragile glass. The simplest words could cut a hole so deep in their hearts and destroy their esteem. Words, when said, are never easy to take back.
When you hurt someone, apologize and when you do,show that you mean you're sorry. You never know when you might be saving a life
